We here at Shopping for Puns have a love/hate relationship with shop names. Having taken a look at many we really do question the sanity of the people who have devised them, yet we also applaud the tenacity, or perhaps down-right stupidity to not only have come up with an idea many would be too ashamed to mention outside close company but to go ahead and form a business around them. Whether or not the creators of bad shop names are aware of the shoddy nature of them, we here at Shopping for Puns want to salute them, while they may often be cringeworthy, pun-based shop names make high streets around the world much more unique places, they are often one of the unspoilt joys of going to an unfamiliar city.
We on this blog want to catalogue some of the best/worst shop names so that they can be shared not only in there native locality but also with people across the world, and to do this we need your help.
